
The University of York and Maastricht University are partnering to host a (northern hemisphere) summer school at the University of York for robotics doctoral researchers.
Led by experienced academics from the Universities of Maastricht and York, participants will:
- Work on a set of engaging case studies that bring together diverse disciplinary perspectives.
- Consider how to navigate the complex challenges of developing and deploying robotic systems ethically and safely.
The summer school will broaden expertise, enhance research impact, and improve familiarity with the forefront of responsible robotics innovation. It’s a great opportunity to expand knowledge, refine skills, and become a leader in the responsible development of robotics.
Who is it for: WUN doctoral researchers in robotics looking to deepen understanding of the field’s ethical and safety implications.
Where: all sessions will take place in-person at the University of York, UK.
When: 18 – 22 August 2025.
