The global young faculty-industry-symposium for responsible AI will be held at Ruhr University Bochum (Germany) on Thursday, 30 January 2025.
Young faculty members will present scientific findings and industry partners will present practitioner perspectives. The possibility of remote attendance will make the key insights from the conferences accessible for attendants from all over the world.
The central parts of the programme are:
- Four contributions from young faculty members on Responsible AI. Topics include:
- Ethical managerial behaviour in AI adoption.
- The role of participation in the introduction of new knowledge management tools.
- Fairness in the use of generative AI and global differences in co-determination in AI projects.
- Two practitioner inputs: Dr. Silvana Hinsen (EY Consulting) and Dr. Mahdie Karbasi from SNAP GmbH.
- Research inputs from Prof. Emma Ruttkamp-Bloem (University of Pretoria, South Africa) on the topic of “Human and AI Flourishing”.
