Topic summary: Developing a funding proposal can be confusing if you’ve never done it before. You may have a brilliant idea, but how do you develop it into a proposal that will excite the reviewers and get your research funded?
In this session, we’ll help you start the process of developing your initial idea. We’ll consider the What, Why, and How of a funding proposal:
Explaining what you’re planning to do
Clarifying why your idea is important
How you’ll do the research
You’ll learn more about what makes a strong funding proposal, get a chance to chat with other early career researchers, and start developing your initial ideas into something more concrete. We’ll also provide you with additional resources to take away and develop your idea further.
