THE World Academic Summit

The University of Cape Town and University of Bristol are jointly hosting the Times Higher Education World Academic Summit in Cape Town from 29 September to 1 October 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa.

The summit will explore four core themes:

Universities and Society: Trust, Justice, and Public Good.
Reframing Global Collaboration: Equity, Co-Creation, and Resilient Societies.
Ethical AI, Access, and Innovation.
